The following bills of interest will be considered:

HB 84 (Rep. DeLuca) -  Preventable Serious Adverse Events Act — Two amendments were posted to the bill which would add nursing homes and payments for nursing homes. 

HB 173 (Rep. Eachus) – Amends the Health Care Cost Containment (PHC4) Act further providing for the duties of the PHC4 as they relate to collecting data. This bill is on 3rd and final passage with no amendments posted.

HB 245 (Rep. Mundy) – Amends the Family Caregiver Support Act

 On 3rd and final passage with no amendments posted on the HVS.

 Senate Floor Schedule

 SB 442 (Sen. Don White) - Mini-COBRA

Currently on the Senate Calendar on 3rd consideration.  This bill is similar to HB 1089 (Rep. Matzie) that is to be considered by the House Insurance Committee.

SB 240 (Sen. Baker) – Amends Titles 35 (Health and Safety) and Title 75 (Vehicles) updating the Emergency Services Act to create a more coordinate and adaptive system and reduce duplication of service.  Also implements the EMS Scope of Practice used by the National Association of State EMS Officials.

It’s on 2nd consideration.  This bill mirrors HB 468 (Rep. Melio) which passed the House last week.
