The PA Dept. of Health reissued a warning on the rise of the whooping cough as cases were detected in Chester, Montgomery, Bucks, and in particular, Delaware, counties. Health officials stressed the importance of keeping up to date on vaccinations, and seeing a doctor if one has symptoms like runny noses, low-grade fevers, sneezing, or coughs similar to that of the flu. They also stressed the importance of receiving booster shots as immunity does wear out over time.
