PA has identified its first probable case of swine flu, but the boy in question is already recovered.
The two suspected flu cases in Allegheny County were negative.
Lackawanna County apparently has a pandemic flu committee… needless to say, they’re meeting.
Despite the CDC’s warnings that masks do little if anything to help prevent catching the flu, they’re selling out like crazy.
The World Health Organization says that containing the swine flu is no longer possible, and that countries should focus their efforts on mitigation instead. They also say that closing borders won’t do any good, and in fact would have negative economic consequences.
