Yesterday, the Patriot-News reported that 14 days into the smoking ban it’s easier to breathe in most restaurants, bars and indoor workplaces.  More smokers are heading outside to smoke and although some truckers are angry over the truck stop ban many are fine with it since it’s the same in 24 other states.

There are, as with every law, some people who refuse to comply.  The Patriot warns that the owners and facilities that continue to violate will recieve letters and calls from the state Dept. of Health before they are officially penalized and fined.
