Several newspapers are reporting today on the rumored sale of all or part of the Wyoming Valley Health Care System, including Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, to a for-profit healthcare system in Tennessee.

The Times-Tribune reports that the hospital’s management has scheduled meetings for today, at which employees believe the announcement of the sale will be made.
