The Central Penn Business Journal reports that Governor Rendell formed a Stimulus Oversight Commission:

Members from the four state legislative caucuses, representatives from Congress, the AFL-CIO, United Way of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry will sit on the commission.

The commission will hold its first meeting tomorrow after Rendell names the chief accountability officer for the state’s allotted stimulus money. The state will receive about $16 billion, about half of which will be direct funding for individuals through tax cuts and other programs direct to individuals.
