After almost a year of merger negotiations, Harrisburg-based PinnacleHealth System and York-based WellSpan Health have decided to go their separate ways. PinnacleHealth reportedly ended the talks citing feedback from the Board, doctors and employees.

Although merger talks have ended, PinnacleHealth looks forward to continuing collaborative efforts with WellSpan in the future.
