“The latest phase of Phoenixville Hospital’s expansion and renovation involves redesigning the Women’s Health Pavilion to all private rooms complete with amenities such as pullout sofas.

About six rooms in the Women’s Health Pavilion, also known as the maternity ward, have been converted to private rooms so far, with the goal of having 14 private rooms by the end of January.

“The feedback for mothers staying in the new rooms has been very positive,” said Dr. Alan Silverberg, chairman of the OB/GYN unit and director of women’s services.”
