From the Pennsylvania Insurance Department:

The Insurance Department continues to explore options for operating a health insurance exchange. (View the news release announcing the stakeholder forums.) To date, we have heard from nearly 50 health care consumers, payers and other stakeholders in our Pittsburgh and Philadelphia meetings, and we are slated to hear from more next week in our final meeting in Harrisburg.

  1. John Brinson Says:

    Folks

PA should not waste a dime on planning for insurance exchanges, for several reasons.
First, the PPACA may be declared unconstitutional. Second, it may be repealed. Third, if the Law stands, PA will have the benefit of copying the best work done by other States who are now wasting their money!
