The Beaver County Times reported today that the number of Pennsylvanians without health insurance went down slightly from 2006 to 2007.
But, there’s still a big problem – especially in Western Pennsylvania – when it comes to caring for the uninsured. The Hospital Council of Western PA says that despite the declining number of uninsured Pennsylvanians, hospitals have been dealing with rising costs related to uncompensated care for several years.
