House Committee Schedule
House Appropriations – Meetings March 23, 24 and 25; no agenda announced
House Aging and Older Adult Services – Tuesday, 3/24, Off the Floor, Room 60, East Wing. To consider:
HB 821, sponsored by Rep. Karen Boback, the Long-Term Care Consumer Relocation Coordination Act requires certain long-term care facilities to coordinate with licensing agencies and local area agencies on aging to provide assistance to consumers in circumstances involving relocation of consumers.
House Health and Human Services – Wednesday, 3/25, 9:30 am, Room 39, East Wing. To consider:
HB 721, sponsored by Rep. Timothy Solobay, The Prescription Drug Redistribution Act requires each health care facility or governmental correctional facility to return certain drug products to the vendor pharmacy for initial repackaging by that vendor pharmacy and redistribution.
HR 123, sponsored by Rep. Jen Mann, is a Concurrent Resolution directing the Joint State Government Commission to create a pain task force and a pain task force advisory committee.
HB 978 sponsored by Rep. Todd Eachus, would amend the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Stabilization Act, further providing for accreditation of Level III trauma centers and for payment calculation of funding of trauma centers.
House Floor Schedule
HB 84 , sponsored by Rep. Tony DeLuca to deny payments to health care providers for serious preventable adverse events.
HB 838, sponsored by Rep. Longetti, would Amend the Insurance Company Law by allowing children, under certain circumstances, to stay on their parents policies until the age of 29.

To consider:
SB 5, spnosored by Sen. Ted Erickson, an act establishing the Community-Based Health Care (CHC) Program in the Department of Health; providing for hospital health clinics and for a tax credit; and making an appropriation.
SB 89, sponsored by Sen. Pat Vance, would reauthorize the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council (PHC4)
SB 189, sponsored by Sen. Jake Corman, would provide insurance coverage for children 19 to 28 years old of insured parents.
SB 442, sponsored by Sen. Don White. Would establish Mini-COBRA.
SB 443, sponsored by Sen. Don White, denies payment of serious adverse events.
