Israeli researchers have discovered “a novel method of restoring antibiotic sensitivity to resistant bacteria” that eventually could be used to fight antibiotic-resistant “superbugs” in hospitals, reports the Wall Street Journal. The process uses bacteria that invades viruses and attacks their resistance to antibiotics. The researchers tested their method on E. Coli but is yet to be treated on MRSA.
