Magee Rehab to open dialysis center

Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, Philadelphia, has contracted with a company to provide dialysis to patients who need dialysis in addition to rehab.

Magee opened its new dialysis center Feb. 2, with the help of $184,000 raised at ita annual Humanitarian Award dinner.

The dialysis services are being provided by DaVita, an El Segundo, Calif.-based company that provides dialysis services to hospitals, will staff, manage, and deliver dialysis treatment to Magee patients six days a week, depending on each patient’s specific therapy schedule.

The services are expected to begin in the next month.

This is great news because Davita is the leading provider of dialysis services in the United States. And with this outreach, they prove to continuously share a commitment to their mission and values. Specially for people having trouble with their plan of care
