Last week when the Clean Indoor Act went into effect, 14 state-owned colleges decided to prohibit smoking everywhere on campus, including inside buildings and outside.

The decision pleased made many health advocates, such as the American Lung Association, while some student smokers were obviously less than thrilled.  At Shippensburg Univesity the decision was made public only hours before the ban went into effect, causing students to host a peaceful smoke-in in protest.
