Lancaster General Health says it plans to challenge an IRS decision made in May that rejected applications for tax exemption filed on behalf of Lancaster General Rehabilitation Services and Lancaster General Ambulatory Surgical Services Inc., two organizations the health system formed to run its facilities at Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital and Lancaster Physician’s Surgery Center, respectively.
