With ups and downs in funding, the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute continues to educate the public on the importance of cancer screenings through people like colon cancer survivor Bob Lamson.
After joining a cancer survivor group, Mr. Lamson agreed to do a public service announcement for the NRCI and now serves on the organization’s board of directors.
In a seemingly never-ending struggle for resources, the institute works hard to find ways to inform the public about the importance of learning signs of different cancers and getting screened at appropriate times.
