Summary: A Resolution recognizing the month of January 2009 as “Cervical Cancer Awareness Month” in Pennsylvania. Cervical cancer is second leading cause of cancer deaths among women worldwide. Experience shows that increasing cervical cancer awareness among women, especially underserved women, significantly reduces the probability of mortality.
Recent Developments: HR 5 was adopted January 27, 2009 by the House.
