WITF reports that House Leadership delayed their floor vote on the expansion of the state’s adultBasic insurance program when they realized they would not have the votes present.

Opponents say the proposal lays the groundwork for a massive expansion of state-funded insurance, but Barry Friesen of the advocate group PA Health Access Network disagrees.
