The House Insurance Committee will hold its second public hearing about the proposed merger between Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and Independence Blue Cross. The hearing will take place on Monday, September 8, at 1pm. The location is East Goshen Township Building in West Chester.

The following organizations are registered to testify: Pennsylvania Insurance Department, PA Chiropractic Association, Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania, Highmark/IBC, UPMC Health Plan.
