The state House Insurance Committee will meet today today to discuss the proposed merger between Pennsylvania’s largest health insurance companies; Highmark Inc. and Independence Blue Cross.
The gathering will be a “roundtable” discussion with representatives of the two insurance companies.
It will begin at 10 a.m., and take place in Room 140 (the House Majority Caucus Room) in the main Capitol building.
