Currently, Pennsylvania has no specific regulations for assisted living facilities.  A House Health and Human Services Committee hearing will be held on Sept. 18th to examine certain proposed regulations, which some in the industry say would raise their costs and hurt the facilities.

The public hearing  is set for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 18 in room 205 of the Ryan Office Building at the Capitol.  Public comment can be submitted on the issue until September 15th.
