A small group led by Kirsten Burkhart, director of AIDS Resource Alliance, picketed in front of a city hall in Lycoming County to raise awareness for HIV and AIDS.  Burkhart is being filmed as part of a Discovery Channel series on the fight against HIV and AIDS.

In the Sun-Gazette article, Burkhart discusses the adversity she says she has faced in raising awareness for the cause.  The article goes on to discuss police incidents involving the AIDS Resource office and a care home for those with illnesses.
