According to The New York Times, adding exercise to your daily routine along with getting a flu shot may help prevent you from getting sick. “The more antibodies a person develops the their protected against the flu virus”. In an experiment, researchers found that exercise produces more antibodies. Over all, “we think that exercise can help vaccine response by activating parts of the immune system,” said Kate Edwards, now a lecturer at the University of Sydney, and co-author of the weight-training study.
