From The Times Express:
EASTON | They say there is power in numbers.
Easton is joining four other cities to investigate whether the five cities together can save on escalating health care costs.
City council agreed earlier this month to apply for $5,000 through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s early intervention program. Mayor Sal Panto Jr. said he’s confident DCED will fund the request because the state looks favorably on collaborative efforts.
Bethlehem, Easton, Lancaster, Reading and York will join for the study.
