Madonna Long of Ebensburg, paralyzed in a school bus accident when she was 17, is working with the Cambria County Emergency Management Agency to help them plan for taking care of special needs residents in case of emergencies.
The Johnstown Tribune-Democrat reports “[Long] presented the National Organization on Disability’s plan during an emergency responders’ meeting and was asked to help implement the protocols for Cambria County.”
