The Intelligencer Reports:
Starting next year, more Bucks employees will contribute toward their health insurance premiums. The contributions range from a half-percent to 1.5 percent of their annual salary.

For the first time next year all non-union county employees will contribute toward their health care coverage, under the county’s latest health plan contract.

County employees also face increases in doctor visit copays, which will range from $10 to $20 for primary care and $20 to $40 for specialists; the emergency room visit copay increases to $100 for everyone.

The out-of-network deductible for employees in the PPO plan, though, will drop next year to $500 or $1,500 for single and family coverage, respectively, down from $1,000 and $2,000 this year. Employees who go out of network pay 70 percent of the cost after the deductible is met.
