In rural areas, in urban areas one issue that is very important in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is public, affordable, universal healthcare. The struggle goes on in competition and affordable health services to all.

Rural areas in Pennsylvania often times lack health services that urban areas enjoy. To meet the needs of citizens in rural areas and less populated areas in counties such as Erie, Crawford &amp;Mercer for example new views are needed to provide public, affordable universal healthcare to help the rural populations of Pennsylvania.

As the Pennsylvania Insurance Committee holds hearing one key question is how competition can be increased and public affordable health services can expand &amp; reach those in need in rural communities. Pennsylvania can do better, the nation can do better to address rural populations &amp; urban populations.

Sincerely,
William D. Hawes</description>
